JTAG CHAIN WAS BROKEN

I have a TSW1400EVM that I am using to evaluate the tsw1266. When I attempt to download firmware I receive the following warning.Text reads: "Download Firmware JTAG_CHAIN_BROKEN_ERROR The JTAG chain was broken while loading firmware". I confirm my board has R55 installed.Ken.C said that removing R55 (the 1k pull down on FPGA_TCK) fixed the problem.I want to kown whether you confirm it.If removing R55 can fix it,i will remove R55 myself.

Hi,

if you have confirmed that R55 is installed, then please remove it if you are able. That resistor R55 has been seen to be one cause of the JTAG_CHAIN_BROKEN error.

Yunjiang,

In almost every case when getting this error, removing R55 corrects the problem. The part is located on the backside of the board under the left bottom corner of the FPGA.

i have removed the R55,but when i connect it to my dell computer(inspiron 14R).I get the same error,but when i connect it to another computer,there is not error.
