ADS1299: Input frequency

Part Number: ADS1299

Dear TI Team

The recommended frequency range (fclk) of the external clock of ADS1299 is specified as follows.

We are worried to our customers how the behavior of the AD1299 will change if it changes within the recommended frequency range of fclk.
I think that the following behavior will change when fclk changes. Is there anything else?

・ Output data rate changes

・ The frequency of Test signal changes

・The frequency of the signal passing through the channel changes to AC Lead_off Detection mode.

  • Hi Y.Ottey-san,

    Thanks for the post.

A few parameters in the devices, such as DR, FLEAD_OFF, and Test signal frequency, are derived from the device operating CLK frequency. Some digital circuitry parameters, such as tSETTLE, tUPDATE, and tSDECODE are also dependent on the CLK frequency. I recommend doing a search on the datasheet for fCLK and tCLK for the complete parameter list.

    Thanks
