ADS1299: Chip failure

Part Number: ADS1299

Hi everybody!
I build my own EEG ADS1299-based with Cyton schematic and little changes.
Before ADC installing I'll check all voltages, all connections for short circiut, all soldering - every is ok.
But after installing ADS1299 (and checking soldering) it was failured with white smoke, so I'm so sad.
Maybe you can help me?
Schematic in attachment.

Thanx

  • Hi Justas,

    Welcome to the E2E !!!!

I reviewed the attached schematic, but I do not see any significant issue that may cause your device to burn up during installation. There may be PCB board issue or a minor solder bridge that causes a short circuit to the device. You can observe the device to see any significant damage to a particular area to isolate either the analog or digital circuitry. Do you see only damages to the ADS1299 or some other supporting devices as well?

Please refer to the FAQ for TI's ADS129x Family of Bio-Potential ADCs in the E2E for some debugging tips.

    Thanks.
