LM98714: Reset Function

Dear TI Team

Our customers are considering the LM98714.
Could you tell me about the following contents about the Reset function?

1. What is the difference between applying an external reset from pin 5 of AFE and applying a software reset ([1] = 1) in Main Configuration 2?
2.  Are all registers initialized by both the above external reset and software reset?
3.  For each of the above external reset and software reset, is it necessary to wait for the register to be read or written after the reset?
　Can you tell me if there are any other restrictions?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your interest in LM98714. 

    1. There is no difference between applying an external reset from pin 4 and software reset in Main Configuration2.

    2. There is no detailed description on datasheet about this. Since no special note, I expect all registers be initialized by above both resets.

    3. After reset either pin 4 or soft reset, recommended to wait 50msec before doing else.
