BP-DAC11001EVM: DAC-Output remains on 0V

Part Number: BP-DAC11001EVM

Hello, I am trying to setup the BP-DAC11001EVM. No matter what I put in the DAC_DATA register, the output-voltage remains at 0V. I have set up the board as shown in the users guide and the board is connected to the software. In the software it looks like I can write and read from the DAC11001.

I am powering VCC with +5.4V, VSS with -5.4V, and Ref pwr/gnd with 5.4V. I have also connected to VIO or VDD to 5.4V; but I believe these are powered by the MSP430 board. The jumpers are left in their default positions. During the firmware programming, I removed JP6 on the MSP430 board and put it on the middle column of JP1 as instructed. I have left this one in place.

Maybe I have to change some settings in the DAC? I have attached some screenshots of the software, I hope you can help me.
