Hello everyone.

I'd like to use DDC2256A (Analog-to-Digital Converter). It has 256 channels and the maximum data rate = 17 KSPS

I was wondering, 256 channels and 17 KSPS here mean that If I use all of 256 channel, each channel has max data rate = 17/256 = 0.0664 KBPS

Hello Thang,

Please verify the part number you are asking about. I cannot find any reference to the DD2256A, and I think it is the DDC2256A, is that correct? www.ti.com/product/DDC2256A .

On 3rd page (5 Device Comparison Table), on PRODUCT column there is DD2256A (256 channels).

Welcome to the E2E forum !!!

Sorry, there is a typo in the DDC264 datasheet where DD2256A should be DDC2256A in the device comparison table. We will update the typo in the next datasheet revision cycle.

The DDC2256A can integrate and digitized all the 256 input channels simultaneously at the maximum data rate of 17 KSPS (58.8us integration time). Please review the simplified datasheet for the DDC2256A and let us know if you need more information as it is shared under NDA.

Yes, you will be able to use 256 channels simultaneously at the maximum data rate of 17 KSPS.
