I wish to simulate the ADC performance preferably along with my complete analog circuit as I wish to obtain the corresponding digital outputs in software before implementing the circuit in hardware. However, I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this. As I understand, most ADC models are only developed for simulation of the driving circuit and do not provide digital outputs. Is this the case for the IBIS models as well which is available for ADS52J90? If not, my second question is which (free) software can I use to simulate IBIS files? I found a few websites which convert IBIS to SPICE, I tried one of them but the generate SPICE model does not seem to work.
