DAC80508:Recommend suitable DAC chip

I want to buy a DAC. The condition is that it can output millivolt level voltage, such as 4MV, and the frequency is 100Hz. Is there a suitable DAC recommended?

At present, I have a dac80508 evaluation board, but I found that there is conduction between vio and ground, so I guess there may be a problem with the board. So I would like to ask your company to meet the above requirements, is there a suitable DAC device recommended? Or can I just buy a new dac80508? Can accuracy requirements be met?

    1. What is you full scale requirements ?  Are you going to generate 4mV, 100 Hz signal ?  or 4 mV is resolution ?

    2. DAC80508 has 8 channel device , your application need 8 channel ?

    DAC chip needs to realize the following parts: the stimulation voltage is 4MV, the frequency is 100Hz, and the duration is 1s. It is mainly used for nerve electrical stimulation in mice, and eight channels should be available. Do you have a suitable recommendation?

    4mV, 100Hz signal can be consider DAC80508.

    since it very low amplitude what is noise spec you looking for this application? and simulation type is sine wave, square or any specific pattern.

    The information I know now is that the stimulation volt age is several millivolts, which is transmitted in the form of pulse. The pulse width is about 1.5ms. Can it be understood as a square wave type? There should be no specific requirements for noise specifications. Of course, the lower the noise, the better, because it is used for electrical stimulation of brain slices in culture medium. Do you think dac80508 is suitable? In addition, can the Vdd and vio required by DAC chip be 3.3V? Can I use battery power?

    1. Yes, DAC80508 consumes low current of 0.6 mA/channel at 5.5 V, making it suitable for battery-operated equipment. A per-channel powerdown feature reduces the device current consumption to 15 µA.

    2. VDD and VIO can be 3.3 V.
