DAC8551: The relative accuracy issue

Hi,

The relative accuracy is about 8LSB in old datasheet (SLAS429A–APRIL 2005–REVISED JULY 2005). But it is 12LSB in new datasheet (SLAS429E –APRIL 2005–REVISED JUNE 2017). Please see the attachment for detailed datasheet and screenshot. Why is it worse in new datasheet?

Hi Kevin,

Changes in Revision D of the datasheet released in March 2016 were done to accurately reflect the device characteristics. These are specification changes only with no changes to the actual device. A product change notice (PCN) was issued prior to the datasheet update. I don't have any more details beyond that the changes were done to be accurate to the device, so the updated specs should be used.
