ADS131A02: About frequency division

Hello team,

I want know about frequency division for ADS131A02.

When CLK1 is set to 1/4 division and CLK2 is set to Reserved, the frequency is not divided?

Is there a problem if I set it to Reserved? Or should I set 1/2 for CLK1 and 1/2 for CLK2?

Hello Adachi,

Thank you for your post.

"Reserved" means "do not use." If you want the modulator to run at 1/4 the CLKIN frequency, set both CLK1 and CLK2 dividers to "1/2" as you proposed.

If CLK2 is set to Reserved, how does the ADC work? Will I not get the correct measurement?

Please do not use ICLK_DIV[2:0] = 000.
