AFE5809: AFE5809 Synchronous trigger.

Hi TI team,

How to make AFE5809 work periodically?I tried to apply a 50Hz PRF on the TX pin, but that didn’t work.Iwant let AFE5809 to work for 1ms every 20ms.I have read the datasheet but I can’t understand the content very well.Plz give me some advise,thank you!!!!

I have tried apply a 50Hz pulse on the PDN_ADC pin ,but i think it is not a good idea.

Hi,

Apologies for delayed response. Since you PRF is of low frequency, you can use PDN_ADC and PDN_VCA to achieve your desired operation. You can give a 50 Hz pulse to these two pins with PDN = HIGH for 18ms and PDN = LOW for 2ms. 2ms because, 1ms for device to wake up (assuming worst case) and 1ms for device operation.
