Hi TI team,
I am testing a custom PCB with the ADS1292.
I found out that my ADS1292 have defaults. On the 10 I have already soldered, I always have Vcap2 around 4.25V. This Vcap2 voltage is much higher than (AVDD+AVSS)/2 with AVDD=2.8V and AVSS=0V in my case. On some devices Vref = 2.4V and on others Vref=0V. Otherwise all other steps cited in [FAQ] ADS129x: How do I verify that my ADS129x device is still functional? - Data converters forum - Data converters - TI E2E support forums are working fine.
I suspect that hand soldering the 0201 components connected to the ADS1292 channel inputs might have damaged the ADS1292 internally. Do you think we should solder other ADS1292 components on channel inputs with a soldering machine?
Best regards
