ADS4449: frequency relationship

Hello,

What is the relationship between the analog input frequency and sample rate of ADS4449? I am a little confused about the below table, does the analog input frequency meet the Nyquist? What is the input clock frequency range of the CLKIN? Could you please help to explain the relationship about the CLKIN, analog input frequency and the sample rate ?

Kailyn,

There is no relationship. The analog input frequency is usually derived from how fast an input can be applied before it is attenuated to much by the internal circuitry. This is why the amplitude is shown with two different values. This has nothing to do with the Nyquist value or the sample clock. This spec will be different from part to part.

The CLKIIN range is from 10MSPS to 250MSPS as shown in the data sheet.

Kailyn,

Yes the sample rate. This is the frequency range of the signal connected to the CLKINP/M pins.
