TSC2046E: Resistive touch controller.

Part Number: TSC2046E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSC2046, TSC2004

Hi Team,
We are using an RTP display in one of our applications.
We were planning to use the chip TSC2004IRTJT to convert the analog data to digital format.
But since the chip TSC2046EIRGVT is cheaper than TSC2004IRTJT, we decided to switch to it.
Our device is a battery-operated one and the host MCU is a 3.3V I/O logic MCU
1). Which of the above chip is preferred more for a battery-operated device in terms of power consumption?.
2). We will need an interrupt pin to wake the host MCU from sleep if a touch input is detected. I believe the ~PENIRQ  pin of the TSC2046E will serve this purpose. Do I need a pull-up or pull-down to this pin to use as an interrupt? And if I need one, will it affect the performance of the touch?.
3). Can I left the VBAT and AUX input of the TSC2046E float or is it advisable to pull them down using a 1K resistor?.
4).
