DAC101C081: Fail to get i2c address

Hi team,

Could you give me advice on how to get i2c address? The customer tried getting i2c address through u-boot, type "i2c probe" as its command. But they couldn't get the i2c address. They've confirmed if the address setting doesn't good like as following link, but the setting doesn't corresponds to following case. The issue was not solved.

Hi Takeshi Sasaki-san,

i think customer trying to read from Linux environments and question is seems software related.

If customer suspecting device issue we can try with EVM in windows environment.

Hi Anbu,

Thank you for your comment. To confirm, does DAC101C081 have Linux driver to be operated in Linux environment? The EVM user guide is described as WaveVision4, so I assume the device is operated on windows environment, but it's not sure in Linux environment.

No, we don't have Linux driver and we can't support as well.
