Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1298, ADS1298ECGFE-PDK
I'm also using the ADS2198FE board in this manner (bypassing the J1 connector and sending signals directly to JP30-37 for EMG). I have been successful in generating square waves using the internal signals following the flow diagram on page 70 of the ADS1298 user document, but when I apply an external square wave from a signal generator, the output signal is very noisy. It also seems to have an offset for some reason, as it does not pass through zero (it is either a very large degree above zero or a large degree below zero, both for the positive and negative portions of the wave depending on the signal strength I input). How should I be interpreting the values of the output and is using the RLDOUT for the ground of my signal generator applicable here? Thanks, Adam
