our customer did change the clock speed from 16 MHz to 26 MHz on the EVM with the result that it did no longer show up in the device manager.
Is the 16 MHz necessary for the USB interface?

Hi Andreas,
Yes, a 16MHz clock is required for the EVM because this clock is shared with the TIVA microcontroller and its firmware only allows operation at 16MHz. This is mentioned in section 5.6 of the EVM user's guide. It's possible to use separate clocks, just note that this may lead to some intermodulation tones in the output spectrum.
