Hi,

Customer have encountering issue regarding the GUI of the EVM, please see details below.

"Yesterday I ordered ADS131A04 evaluation board and i have problems with GUI software.

Evaluation board is setting up in default (according to datasheet) mode:

I downloaded and install recommended software ADS13104EVM-GUI (antivirus disable). Device manager reports not driver issue.

After connecting EVboard into USB LED diode D1,D2 and D4 lights up. Then I tried to start up GUI software and there pop-up window with error report.

I tried all recommended solutions but nothing works for me. So my question is if there is any other solution for my problem?

Thank you for your post.

We recently refreshed this EVM and converted it to our latest EVM controller platform with a new GUI. Can you confirm the hardware that the customer is using? Please share a screen capture of the board(s) that they received.

Hello Maynard,

Thanks for confirming. Yes - this is the original EVM hardware.

Please instruct the customer to download the Delta-Sigma EvaluaTIon GUI as well as the ADS131A04EVM Device Package.

Hello Ryan, Hello Maynard.
I have also recently bought the same hardware, and downloaded and installed Evaluation GUI and device package instructed by ryan. but still i am able to get my device connected to eval GUI. in device manager the sensor doesnot show any new entry, is there any additional USB drivers needed to get it connected,..?

Thank you for your post. Try following the steps described in this thread. There is also a link at the bottom to another post which appears to be helpful when facing driver installation issues on our EVMs.
