DAC81408EVM: DAC81408 output is not responding

Hi,

after connecting with USB2ANY, EVM application shows as DEVICE connected,

for read all command,

1.DeviceID: 298h

2.STATUS reads value 0x0008.

3.SPICONFIG reads value 0x0A04.

in DAC81408 page, changed DACOUT, but not able to read. its always seems zero.

Hi,

Please write the following registers after power up.

Write SPI_CONFIG 0x0A84
Write DEV_PWDOWN 0xF00F
Write GENCONFIG  0x7F00

Read all these values after the above step and confirm you are reading the registers correctly.

After that write into DAC_DATA and see whether output is responding or not.

Hi,

I wrote these commands and in DEV_PWDOWN and return is 0x0000.

After that I changed DAC_DATA, in read register value is changing but I am getting 2.5V for all output value.

Hi,

I wrote multiple values, such as 0x100, 0x1000, 0x2500 etc

I am trying to read DAC output using DMM, for all values its showing zero only.
