ADS1261: Devise compatibility

Dear Sirs

I'm using a ADS1261BIRHBR in my design. In these times of chip shortages, I've found a supply of ADS1261BQWRHMRQ1. Although the packages are slightly different, it appears that the land patterns are the same and the device specifications are the same. Other than the ADS1261BQWRHMRQ1 is an automotive rated device, can I use the ADS1261BQWRHMRQ1 in place of the ADS1261BIRHBR? Thank you.

Hi Dennis,

The ADS1261B and ADS1261B-Q1 are functionally equivalent devices. Moreover, the land pattern is virtually identical, though the thermal pad on the ADS1261B-Q1 is slightly larger. However, the pin pad size, spacing, and location are identical between the two devices.
