Tks

  • Hi,

Please let us know what evaluation board (Part Number) is connected to the TSW14J56EVM in the two videos.

    Regards,

    Rob

  • Hi  Rod

We use an AD acquisition card. Type: AD6688.

    Best Regards.

    Dora

  • Dora,

The TSW14J56EVM from TI was not designed to work with AD products. This EVM will work with a TI ADC32RF80EVM, which may be an alternate solution for your application.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • After checking, it is stated on your official website that it can be used by connecting ADC12J1600EVM board

  • Agreed. This is a TI EVM. You mention the AD6688 in your earlier post . Not sure what your point is.

  • Hi Jim

AD6688 is the internal code, and the model of the board supporting this model is confirmed to be ADC12J1600EVM. We bought two batches, the quantity is 3 pieces and 2 pieces respectively, and there is one abnormal piece in each. Please help confirm the problem as soon as possible. thank you

  • User,

You mention one PCS fails. What is a PCS? It appears you have three setups, each setup containing one TSW14J56EVM and one ADC12J1600EVM, correct? If this is the case, please answer the following questions about the failed setup:

    1. How much current can the supply provide to the TSW14J56EVM? This needs to be at least 4A.

    2. What is the status of the LED's on both boards in the failing mode? I cannot tell from the video the status of these.

    3. Please send screen shots of the HSDC Pro GUI of the TSW14J56 when this failure occurs.

    4. Swap the boards around with the passing boards to identify which actual board is failing. Is it the ADC board or the TSW board.

    Regards,

    Jim

  • Dear  Jim

We used the combination of TSW14J56EVM and ADC12J1600EVM board for testing。

    1. 5V,10A

    2. D1, D6, and D7 are steady on, and D4 is blinking,

    3.please refer attachment picture

    4. It has been confirmed that the TSW board cannot run normally due to problems caused by multiple combination replacement. Similar problems will not exist when other TSW boards of your company are replaced.)

  • User,

The LED status on the TSW14J56EVM is indicating a hardware failure. This board should be replaced.

If you bought this from a distributor, you will have to work with them to get a replacement. If you bought it from the TI Store, the following link has the details and a link to the form to start the return process.  Once you are on the returns and refunds page of the TI Store look for the hyperlink which says: TI store customer support form.

    Regards,

    Jim
