ADS124S06: Power consumption with different condition from the datasheet

Hello,

 

The ADS124S0x datasheet specifies power consumption data with AVDD=DVDD=IOVDD=3.3V on P13.

But it is a little bit different from my customer’s case.

Their case is AVDD=5.0V, DVDD=3.0V and IOVDD=5.0V.

Do you have any data that can help to know how much current would be consumed in this case?

    Hi Oba,

    The IOVDD current will depend on the driving current required for the output pins (DRDY and DOUT/DRDY when CS is low).  The AVDD and DVDD are the primary current draw of the ADC itself.  If you look in the datasheet at Figure 43 (AVDD current versus supply) and Figure 47 (DVDD current versus supply) you can see the characteristics of change of current with supply.
