What are the aperture time and aperture jitter time of ADS1256? One of our customers is asking these questions, could you help provide these parameters?

    Hi Amy,

    Aperture time and jitter are terms that are more commonly-associated with SAR ADCs, and is not applicable for a relatively low speed delta-sigma ADC like the ADS1256. Moreover, the ADS1256 is constantly sampling the ADC input to generate an output code, there is not a sampling phase and an acquisition phase like a SAR ADC.

    Why did the customer request this information? What are they trying to do with the ADS1256? If we know more information, maybe there is another way we can help support them.
