ADS1299: Addition sensors with EEG

In addition to using the 8 channels of the ADS1299 for EEG, can I also connect to it another sensor like a temperature sensor? If so, what pin should I connect it to?

Hi,

There are only eight fully differential analog inputs for the ADS1299. There is no additional channel to connect the device to other sensors directly. Any sensors can be connected to the analog input as long as the sensors can provide the signal that satisfies the analog input requirements.

Please note that an on-chip temperature sensor for this device can be used for temperature measurement.

Please refer to Section 9.3.1.1.3 (Page 21) in the datasheet for more detailed information on the on-chip temperature sensor.
