A/D converter + virtual COM

Hi everyone,

I am in need of a device, connected to the PC via USB, that can receive 4 voltages as inputs. Such device should be seen as a Virtual COM from the Computer, because the input voltages should be read with a Visual Basic code and then written into a file.

Could anyone suggest me if such a device exist? I've been not able to find it!

    Hi Andrea,

    Welcome to the e2e forum!  The closet thing I can think of would be something like the MyDAQ from National Instruments.  What you are describing is essentially a 'ready to go' data acquisition system.  We don't have an off the shelf component that can do what you are asking for.
