Do you have any advice on this ADC requirement?

  • sampling rate: 500M/1G
  • resolution ≥12bits
  • Input: 295~455MHz -6dBFS, SFDR>70dBc
  • Input: 335~415MHz -6dBFS, SFDR>75dBc
  • Within 295~455MHz, SNR≥63dBFS

    • What is the # of channels needed?
    • Is there any interface requirement (LVDS/JESD)
    • Are you meaning that the sample rate must support all speeds between 500MSPS and 1GSPS or will something landing in the middle be sufficient?

    No requirement for channels and interface.

    Sampling rate support 500Msps or 1Gsps. not all speed.

    I would suggest the ADS54J60 or ADS54J64 in this case. All required metrics are not only achieved but outperformed (with the exception of SFDR at 415MHz, which I am seeing 74dBc on our EVM rather than 75dBc). See the attached data from my captures with the ADS54J64EVM. The sample rate is 491.52MHz (essentially 500MHz) and the input tone is set to -6dBFs in all captures. Data: ADS54J64.zip
