DAC39J84: Inconsistent register map in datasheet

Genius 17815 points
Part Number: DAC39J84

Hi Experts,

We have this query from Cx about erroneous register map shown in SLASE48A.

Looking at D/S of DAC39J84, the addresses in Table 30 do not correspond to their matching descriptions as shown in subsequent sections. In particular, they're thrown off by the fact that there are two config98's listed as well as there not being an address 0x5F (config95?), and config100 in the register map show address 0x65 when it should be 0x64 (they think?) based off the logic conversion from decimal to hex and section 7.5.1.101.

Any confirmation on this?

Thank you.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • Hi Archie,

The register config95 does indeed correspond to register address 0x5F. The register config100 begins at register address 0x64. All registers above config100 have an address that is subsequently reduced by 1. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I will work on getting the datasheet's register map corrected!
