Hi Team,

The customer is trying to take some data with the ADS127L01EVM board using Delta-Sigma ADC EvaluaTIon Software and would like to know if they can receive the external data into a loop?

The idea is to receive one sample and to have an entire signal not just a part of it.

Can you help?

Hello Mavin,

Thank you for your post.

The EVM software cannot be looped for continuous acquisition. It only supports collecting a finite number of contiguous data points and saving them for post-processing analysis.

Thanks for the response. Just a follow-up question, Is there other software that the customer can use other than DeltaSigmaEvaluation?

Hi Marvin,

The customer can disable the on-board MCU and the level-translators by installing the jumper on JP1. Then, the customer can flywire the required signals from an external MCU via the DEBUG header pins on J6 and use their own software to evaluate the ADS127L01. Otherwise, we do not have other software options that work with this EVM.
