Hello, would TI be able to provide guidance on the software tools that can be used to evaluate the AFE7950 transceiver? Can the TSW14J58 JESD204C Data Capture and Pattern Generator Card be used to interface and evaluate the part using the AFE7950EVM? Thanks,

Hi Jack,

Currently evaluation of AFE7950 is done using TSW14J56EVM. The TSW14J58EVM has necessary hardware to support AFE7950EVM. However, dynamically re-configurable firmware for transceiver evaluation is under development. We are supporting JESD204C modes by providing JESD reference designs for particular JESD modes.
