Hello ti support team,
I would like to ask whether the TX- and RX-grounds are internally connected inside the chip?
If we have one voltage source powering both sides with different voltage levels shall we connect the 2 grounds together or are they internally connected? I searched through the datasheet of the part and couldn't find anything related to this.
However, we have tried to connect only the TX ground to our circuit ground and left the other ground floating, it seems that the chip works just fine.
