DDC11XEVM-PDK: Question about the board withstand to ESD

Part Number: DDC11XEVM-PDK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DDC114, DDC112

Dear colleague,

I am using the DDC11EVM in order to make very low current measurements on dielectric materials.

I would like to know what is the board withstand regarding ESD (electrostatic discharges)?

Also, I am measuring leakage currents on insulating materials for voltages of several kilovolts. I use several precautions in order to avoid any flashover. However, in the case of an unexpected dielectric breakdown of the sample, the impulse voltage at the board input is the one that I am showing in the screenshot below. Would this pulse be sufficient to damage the board and, in that case, what measures would you recommend in order to mitigate the risk?

Thanks a lot!

With BR,

J Rivenc

PS - When replying, would you kindly put in copy my colleagues in the list below, thank you!
