My customer could use help with DAC part selection, requirements below:
"I need to generate a sinusoid analog signal at 1.8 MHz which I must be able to change the phase quickly, ideally within 1 milliseconds without having to interface with an FPGA. I would ideally prefer to have 10x oversampling, so 18 MSPS or higher, if possible, but I can probably live with less. 10 bit resolution is fine, but I might be able to live with less.
Does TI sell any DAC or DDS which is easy to set up and quickly change the phase? We would want to buy 8 eval boards to quickly test out in a product evaluation. Due to the timing requirements, a USB or network interface probably wouldn’t work"
