ADS8634: Sample Code

Hi Team,

Our customer intends to design with ADS8634. Do we have sample code available for ADS8634?

If there are no sample codes available, do we have any reference on the SPI initialization process of the ADC?

Hi Jejomar,

We do not have an example code for the ADS8634. There is no requirement to initialize the ADC SPI. The customer only needs to configure the SPI on their microcontroller in terms of clock polarity and phase, SCLK frequency and so on.

If this is a new project/design, I recommend to use ADS8684/ADS8684A which are new generation ADCs to support a direct bipolar input, more features(no requirements for high voltage power supplies and ADC driver) and better performance. There is a code example for ADS8684 which is 4-ch version of ADS8688.
