TSW14J57EVM: TSW14J57EVM Rev E. It keeps on indicating the Red LED (D16) and D11 is not lit but flickers sometimes

Hi Pavitra,

Have you had problems using other boards with the 57EVM, or is the ADC32RF45 the first one you are attempting to use with it?

This is the first one I am attempting to use. And what we have noticed is that initially when we start the TSW board it works fine but in a few minutes, Red LED turns on and we stay stuck in this situation.

What is the current rating of your power supply?

Is HSDC Pro able to detect the TSW board?

Yes HSDC Pro is detecting the board. We kept power rating for TSW at 12 V and 1 A initially and as it was not working so we even moved to 2A and 3A. 

Is it still not working at 3A?

Sometimes there are transients during the firmware download stage that peak above 2A. We recommend using the TSW14J57EVM with at least 3A, however a 4A supply is better if available.

Ok i will try with 4A and will inform you of the results.

I’d like to mention one more thing, it is not specific to the moment when we are trying to download firmware, but it happens in few minutes after turning the TSW board on.

also after i press power reset it turns of all the other blue LEDs as well except D10 and D13 and then goes back to the usual state after a long time.
