ADS7049-Q1EVM-PDK: Software does not recognize the device

Hi Experts,

Good day. Can you help this query from Cx?

I have just started using the ADS7049-Q1EVM-PDK and the software from the TI website will not recognize the device. When I plug it into my computer I get prompted to upload EEPROM and when I select the one I require, the software shows an error that says that either the boot PROM or the EEPROM are not responding.

    Hi Archie,

    Upon arrival, the EVM should have the EEPROM loaded so this is interesting. The EEPROM can still be written to but before the Load EEPROM button is clicked, switch S1 needs to be properly set to write enable. Please push the switch closest to the WR_EN silkscreen text and then click on the Load EEPROM button. Please let me know the EEPROM is still not responding after this.

    Hello Aaron,

    Thanks for your prompt response.

    After pressing the switch, nothing has changed. The LED D1 is blinking slow and the LED D2 is blinking fast. Also when I look at documentation from TI I noticed that my version of the board looks different than the version in the manuals. Is this an issue?
