AFE5805EVM: HSDC Pro

Hi,

Good Day. Customer is working with TSW1400EVM and AFE5805EVM. When he use the HSDC Pro v. 5.20, a message "No firmware. Please select a device to load firmware into the board" is shown.

He noticed that .ini file is ok, on C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\1400 Details\ADC files, but it doesn't have a firmware for AFE5805EVM on C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro\1400 Details\Firmware.

He expected to have a .rbf file inside this folder.

Can you send us a rbf firmware or try to help us? Please advise. Thank you very much.

Hi Vincent

One reason which I think it is the AFE5805 is not coming in is because you might not have installed the GUI for AFE5805.

Because when you install device GUI, some files get copied in the HSDC libraries and the list gets updated. And then you should be able to see the AFE also coming up.

Can you check it by installing the GUI in your system and check if the problem still comes up? In order to get the GUI, you can ask them to download from the webpage.

I installed the AFE5805 GUI and Driver Software before.

I tried reinstalling the GUI to try to fix it, but the problem remains.
