DAC088S085: IC Marking Confirmation and meaning

Can Someone explain what the IC markings on the following IC means?

DAC088S085

I know X82C is listed on the spec sheet, but 21A3FLU is not.

Also, is there a way to confirm that this marking actually exists?
When I say exist, I mean that this is actually a legit marking

THVD1510DR

I know that 18M means 2021/august, but what does ATOR mean?

I am afraid that these are fakes. Does anyone have any insight? Does the lot # actually exist?

'21' refers to the year/month date code, the 'A3FL' refer to the lot code, and the 'U' refers to the assembly site code.

Sorry for my late reply Katlynne Jones.

Unfortunelty, this was purchased from an independant broker. I was hoping the markings and lot code could be confirmed.

If the forum only supports items purchased from authorized distributors let me know! I will delete my post if needed.

Hello,

No need to delete your post, thank you for your questions! Counterfeit parts can have a real lot number printed on the package, so unfortunately we can't confirm if a lot number is authentic without the inspection of the die itself.

Thank you for allowing me to keep this post!!

One of my friends recommended me a decapping service from another inspection company. The decap is as follows.

Are these easily counterfited too? Or do they seem legit?

I am just worried about if the markings on the IC (lot # / trace code) if they exist or not.

Is it possible to search through?

Hi,

We cannot really confirm the authenticity of the die, but in general, it is very hard to counterfeit the actual die. It is more common to change the markings on the package.
