Hi,

Let me ask you a basic question as below.

1) When we set "Auto-Trigger" mode (CFR register, D9=0), the sample rate setting (CFR register, D8) will be ignored, correct?

2) In case we use "8ch" input, the max sampling rate is 62.5KSPS (=500KSPS/8), correct?

Hello Takumi-san,

1. No, that is not correct. When using Auto-Trigger mode, you can set CFR register D8 to either 0 (500ksps) or 1 (250ksps). The acquisition time will be 3 CCLK and the conversion time will be 18 CCLK in both cases. For 500ksps, the ADC will start conversions every 21 CCLK cycles. For 250ksps, the ADC will start conversions every 42 CCLK cycles.

2. Yes, that is correct. The maximum sampling rate of the ADC is 500ksps. If you are scanning through 8 channels, then the sampling rate for each channel will be 500ksps/8=62.5ksps per channel.
