DDC101 connected to Arduino

Hi,

I want to connect the ddc101 to the microcomputer Arduino. But I do not really know how. The problem is that I do not understand how the Data Output Signal looks like. Has anyone done this before? It is not a frequency output or?

Hello Sven,

Welcome to the E2E forums. The output from the DDC101 is shown on page 8 in figure 6.

Refer to Section 3 pin description on pages 6 and 7 to resolve these signals to pins on the device for your connections. I'm not familiar with your micro-controller to tell you precisely which pins you want to make these connections to.

Also, though, the DDC101 is NRND (not recommended for new designs) since it is a very old part. Can you tell us some more about your application so we can perhaps recommend an alternative data converter for you to use? Some of the more modern parts have more conventional interfaces that perhaps will be easier to understand and manipulate.
