DAC12DL3200EVM: DAC12DL3200EVM USB is not connect and Occurin Error Message from GUI Program.

I am S/W part Engineer at Alphasolutions in South Korea.

We have bought TSW14DL3200_EVM and DAC12DL3200EVM.

I have read TI guide document enough

I have already completed check on TSW14DL3200_EVM through HSDC_Pro_GUI

(USB and update firmware to DAC12DL3200EVM).

It have two issue about DAC12DL3200EVM

First Issue

Error or Warning Message from DAC12DL3200EVM GUI program

Could you let me know How I can solve this issue.

Second Issue

I have tried several times but USB Status is not changed.

This is 3.7 part of User’s Guide DAC12DL3200 Evaluation Module

3.7 Turn On the DAC12DL3200EVM 5-V Power Supply and Connect to the PC

Use the following steps to turn on the DAC12DL3200EVM 5-V power supply and connect to the PC.

1. Connect the DAC12DL3200EVM to the PC with the mini USB cable.

2. Turn on the 5-V power supply to power up the EVM.

3. Press the DAC RESET switch SW1.

4. Turn on the power switch on the TSW14DL3200EVM

Hi Marvin,

Did you installed HSDCpro before installing the DAC gui?

Also did you install the DAC gui as an admin?

--> yes. but I have tried to change order

Dear Neeraj,

It is high priority issue to connect board. (Second issue)

DAC usb driver can be shown in device manager.

But usb connect is fail.

Currently, There is not connected SMA cable in board.

Is it problem for DACBoard to recognize the usb?

Hyunsuk,

The issue might be with the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine (Refer to this Link ). One possible solution is to uninstall the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine and re-installing it using the steps in the attached document. The DAC12DL3200EVM GUI does not install the run-time engine but the HSDC Pro GUI does.

Hi, Everybody

I resolved this issue by myself.

I found lvanlys.dll issue NI forum.

This ticket is related that lvalys.dll error in LABVIEW 2019 env on AMD CPU.

So, I did it below

Go to Control Panel >> System >> Advanced System Settings >> Advanced >> Environment Variables >> System variables
In the bottom part of the dialog, click New.
Put MKL_DEBUG_CPU_TYPE as Variable name.
For 64-bit AMD processors, use 4 as Variable value (see the Additional Information section below for more information).
Confirm OK multiple times to close all dialog windows.

and removed labview2016 and uninstall DAC S/W

Re install DAC S/W after reboot

So, I do not want any more live debugging
