AMC1303M2520: CLKOUT is stable with any AVDD status?

Part Number: AMC1303M2520

Hi Experts,

As far as DVDD is supplied, AMC1303M2520 continues to output 20MHz clock despite AVDD is supplied or not or ramping or oscilating etc. Is this understanding correct?

Hi Uchikoshi-san,

Can you tell us what part of Figure 2 or section 8.4.1 in the AMC1303 datasheet is unclear to you? Without AVdd applied, CLKOUT will be logic 1.

When AVDD is applied like the waveform in below, when dose CLKOUT start to ouput?

Yes, if AVdd drops out and comes back, the clock will start back up after AVdd settles.

Tim-san, hank you for your answer. This is becuase below figure shows the clock is available even though AVDD is low. So I am understanding below figure is not correct. Right?
