ADS131A02: CLK in Multiple Device Configuration

Hi team,

My customer is considering using ADS131A02 in configuration like the one on Figure 96.

Based on this figure, same CLK is used for all the devices. Is it OK to use separate CLKs (crystals)?

Hi Kurumi-san,

In this specific configuration, yes, the same clock is required for both devices. Otherwise, the hand off between /DONE and /CS can be delayed by jitter of the clock edge and might delay, shift, or prevent the correct shift of the SPI frame.
