TSW3100/DAC5682Z in slave mode

Hello all,

 

I'm trying to run the TSW3100 with a DAC EVM and I want to run the TSW3100 in slave mode.

 

My intention is to generate a pattern using the TSW3100 on an external trigger pulse.

The user manual of the TSW3100 with DAC5682Z says that the slave mode operation is undocumented.

 

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has used the slave mode can help me out as to how to go about it.

    Hello Aswath,

    The latest version of firmware used by the TSW3100 does not support this mode. We can either send you the FPGA  programming files that will support this mode or you can send us your board and we will reprogram it for you. Let me know what you would like to do.

    Would it be possible to modify the programming file?

    I require the TSW3100 to generate a pattern sent from the computer on an trigger generated by another device.

     

    Any additional documentation you can send on the slave mode will also be helpful.
