ADS1293: Interface to ESP32

Part Number: ADS1293

Hi TI E2E design support,

My conversation to Tech support did not find a solution hence forwarding the same to you as advised.

"

We have had a working design with ADS1293 for our ECG monitoring circuit.

The MCU was from Silicon Labs.

Later we changed the MCU to ESP32 PICO Mini - Module.

The SPI interface is not working as MISO is not giving a response.

We have tried on a proven board, by disabling the Silicon Labs MCU.

Could you help us with a resolution as to why such a scenario can occur ?

"

Thank you

Nidhin

  • Hi,

Could you clarify a bit more?

Are you saying that you already had a working system that uses ADS1293 + MCU was from Silicon Labs?

And, after you changed the MCU to ESP32 PICO Mini - Module, i.e. ADS1293 + ESP32 PICO Mini - Module, then the system stops working, particularly the SPI's SDO signal?

May I ask does this happen to just one of your customer boards or multiple?

Please check all the power, power rails are supplied correctly.

Have you tried or been able to read the datasheet -

    Thanks
