ADS7138: Technical issue on ADS7138 will be used with an STM32F3 using I2C communication.

Hi Experts,

Good day.

I need your help, our customer managed to get the ADS to work in manual mode.
However, it was impossible to operate the autonomous mode and to have data in the different RECENT_CHX registers (or min and max).
What is the minimum configuration to get a conversion on the 8 analog inputs at the highest frequency?
Just after the configuration, He sends once the "conversion start frame" (2 frames full of 0). Maybe there are missing something important?


For the background of the concern.
He has a technical issue using an ADS7138. He will use it with an STM32F3 using I2C communication. The functions to read or write to registers are working well but he can't start conversion.
In the datasheet, the conversion start frame is really different from other types of frames. He tried manual, auto-sequence, or autonomous mode but the RECENT_CH0_REGISTER is still full of 0x00.

Please advise.
