we are designing a kit with ADS1294R and checked TIDA-01614 and ADS1298ECGFE-PDK designs.
in fact, I'm learning from those designs to create my design, now I have question about the "tvs0500drvr" IC, TIDA-01614 was designed with that IC that I think is for preventing electrical shock or electrostatic shock, but in 1298 design didn't use that and put some diodes on the leads way, so which one is correct? which one is better? and how can we make more safety with leads connection?
