I'm designing in the TVP5158 (four channel video encoder). It comes in a 128-pin PQFP with a special thermal pad on the bottom. The mechanical drawing for the package shows the thermal pad and says "size and shape shown on separate sheet" -- but there is no separate sheet with that information. The datasheet for the part doesn't have it either. I also found an Application Report about how to design with these PowerPAD packages, but it doesn't say either.
My PCB designer is going to need dimensions for that thermal pad and the recommended layout of thermal vias under it. Cheers Calum
