Hello.

I tested to measure Weight Scale and BCM ADC value(or volts) with AFE4300 EVM.

At this point, I just wonder a few.

1. When conneced 4 load cell and 4 electrodes, is possible measure WS and BCM at the same time?

Or, sequentially??

2. In BCM simulate, I got adc value(code/volts).

Is it possible calculte body fat/body water with this adc value(code/volts)??

Hello Hee-Choel,

As you can infer from the datasheet, there is only 1 ADC that is multiplexed between the weigh scale and BCM signal chains. Hence the WS and BCM measurements cannot be measured simultaneously, they have to be multiplexed.

We do not support body composition analysis (estimation of body fat and water content etc.). We leave it to our customers to add/develop their own IP for the BCA using our device.
