TPL1401: Programmable Comparator Mode FB pin input impedance

Part Number: TPL1401

I have been testing an application where I want to use the TPL1401 as a programmable comparator.  I am following the SNAA348 app note that shows how to do this.

It does work, but I see a significant leakage current when driving the FB pin as shown.  It works out to approximately a 200K resistor to ground.   My source is around 50K so this introduces a huge offset error.  If I have to buffer my signal i might as well just use an external comparator and leave the buffer as is.

If this is inherent in the device it is a show stopper for my use case.  I don't see any mention of input impedance in the app note which makes me suspect this is a device issue.

Any info on the expected input leakage at the FB pin would be helpful.

Thanks,

Dave
