The internal bandwidth of a SAR ADC is set by the internal sample and hold circuit. This circuit is documented in section "8.3.2 Analog Inputs". For this device the values are Rs = 50 ohm, and Csample = 40pF. This translates to a bandwidth of 79.5MHz. For SAR converters you can normally assume that the bandwidth is significantly greater than the maximum sampling rate. For this device the maximum sampling rate is 1Msps, so the 78MHz is what you would expect. I hope this is helpful to you.
